We as a culture are loosing our relationship with nature and the natural. The childlike play in these images is my way of connecting back to nature, in particular the enigmatic ambiance of the forest. This series is an extension of a previous series I produced in which only the instillation and final product of the incursion were shown. In this new series I include myself in theses images, captured in the act of creating; allowing the viewer to observe the performance aspect of the work. This graceful behaviour takes us back to mythic imagery which is suggestive of classical art.
